Overview

The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing actuate payout and timely payouts during the Bingo game. The incumbent is also responsible for performing varied paymaster duties to ensure the integrity of the game.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification) - Responsible for retrieving and returning paymaster bank at the beginning and end of each shift. - Verifying the cash amount received for paymaster bank with cage. - Creating all payouts prior to seasons. - Receiving all correct paperwork from floor clerks ensuring a valid bingo prior to payout. - Accurately keeping record of payouts, including but not limited to the amount of the payout, quantity of winners and game information. - Communicates with the callers throughout the game to ensure proper payout amounts and number of winners. - Other job duties related to bingo.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis) This knowledge and these abilities are typically acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent and two months of on-the-job training, and/or through related cashier experience. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc): - Must obtain and maintain valid licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations. - Must successfully pass background check. - Must successfully pass drug screening. - Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age. - Prior experience in Tribal Gaming preferred. - Prior experience in Bingo preferred. KNOWLEDGE OF: - Procedures, methods, and equipment including bingo equipment, computers and applicable software applications. ABILITY TO: - Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed. - This position spends time on the Casino floor and is subject to varying levels of crowds and noise, and the severity of which depends upon guest volume. - Communicate effectively with bingo guests and staff. - Knowledgeable of all bingo games, rules and regulations. - Ability to clearly hear callers throughout the bingo game. - Obtain and maintain all appropriate licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations. - Multi-task during game proceedings. - Efficient cash handling.
